ORTA has collaborated with The Vintage Showroom of London for our AW 18/19 collection to prepare two capsule collections – Speed Stars and Free. The collections stand for very different and unique stories, providing an inspirational window to denim. Both collections are featuring fabrics from Orta’s extensive archive.
FREEFALL: Free Fall deconstructs original parachutist clothing from The Vintage Showroom’s collection. The result is a modern, utilitarian and unisex look using Orta fabrics which retains the key functionality of the original garments.
SPEED STARS: Speed Stars is a contemporary take on a classic motorcycle story. Inspired by biker clothing from the 1950s and 1960s which have been reinterpreted, and modernised using Orta fabrics.
